‘BEESAFE’ CAMPAIGN CALLS FOR MP FOR SHERWOOD MARK SPENCER TO RE-THINK THE USE OF BEE-KILLING PESTICIDES
Protect Newark’s Green Spaces (PNGS) has launched a campaign urging Mark Spencer, MP for Sherwood, to reverse his decision to permit the use of bee-killing pesticides, without parliamentary debate or vote.
BALDERTON’S ‘WILD ISLES’ UNDER THREAT
Campaign group Protect Newark’s Green Spaces (PNGS) has warned that Balderton’s very own Wild Isles could soon be destroyed. Historic fields off Lowfield Lane are home to precious grasslands and wildlife. Yet, Newark and Sherwood District Council (NSDC) now plans to build 151 houses through its in-house developer, Arkwood.

Around 300 residents rallied together, calling upon Newark MP, Robert Jenrick, to demand our Government withdraw the retained EU law bill - also known as the ‘wrecking bill’ - which could see the ripping up and removal of over 1,000 laws protecting nature and wildlife.
